I didn’t understand why God placed me in the kitchen during the most precious time in my life. But since I became fully involved in the restaurant ministry I came to realize that God has perfect plans and He never makes mistakes. During the years I worked in restaurants, I experienced how frustrating it was. After I closed up all my restaurants and real estate businesses, I became the director of the Restaurant Ministry of CCHC. I realize how wonderful God’s work is. He can make a way in the desert and streams in the wasteland. He is faithful and trustworthy. Every day I face problems I can’t solve, and manage things too hard to handle, but God is able to do what I cannot do. As I serve Him with obedience, dedication and joy, I deeply feel that I am not worthy, but due to His grace I harvest many exciting results.
During the two years I’ve joined the Restaurant Ministry of CCHC, I experience God’s grace every day. In my ministry I often empathize the hardship and bondages of restaurant workers. While I counsel, encourage, comfort and guide them, I fully sense how long, wide, high and deep the love of Jesus Christ is for them, and how much they needed the salvation of the Lord. I witnessed changed lives and saw those set free from pain and healed by the Lord. When they reconnect with the Lord of their lives, they gain peace, joy, and hope. This is not the result of human power but a miracle accomplished by the Spirit of Christ. While I witnessed God’s guidance and inspiration to them, I am privileged to be a blessing to others and my faith grows day by day.
