Cancer Care Network

The Herald Cancer Care Network has been established for three years. Aside from training volunteers in the Bay Area in northern California, as well as developing Caring ministries, we also helped trained the staff of other CCHC branches, enabling them to serve and support their local cancer patients and families. In the near future, we hope to serve the Chinese churches around the world, by offering trainings, resources, treatment experiences and counseling techniques, as a way of serving the community with Christ's love.
Through this network, we hope to provide practical help to the newly diagnosed and those at the final stages of cancer. We strive to share the love and hope of God with them. According to the statistics available, one out of every three or four Chinese will suffer from cancer. Through the ministry of the Herald Cancer Care Network, we foresee that many cancer patients and their loved ones will come to experience the love of Christ. Then the crisis can be used by God as a turning point of their lives.
“Chaplaincy” was a compulsory subject in my pursuit of the Ministry of Divinity degree in seminary. After I finished chaplaincy on March 1st of 2007, I joined the Herald Cancer Care Network to care for the cancer patients and their families in the Chinese community, seek helpful community resources, make visitations, maintain our website and organize workshops on effective skills in caring for cancer patients, and educate the public about cancer. Our goal is to help provide the physical and spiritual support for the cancer patients and families.
The Milpitas office is a very special place, where both the restaurant ministries and Global Cancer Care Network are stationed. I have met many staff and volunteers from various backgrounds. They are true disciples of Christ as they devote themselves to serving those in need. Their testimonies has manifested the unconditional love of Christ.
