 本報看重讀者們的親子關係，藉著父母與孩子學習英語的時刻，增加他們溝通的機會。使用這教材的方法如下：

Message
Chinese New Year is probably one of the most enjoyable festivals especially for children and teenagers in Hong Kong – delicious festive food, holidays and firework, and above all, red packets from relatives and friends!
相信農曆新年是香港小朋友和青少年們最喜愛的節日之一，除了美味的賀年食物、假期、煙花表演，最高興的還是收到親友送贈的紅封包。
Chinese like to greet each other saying ‘ may blessings be with you ’ during the New Year. Some people think getting more and more is a blessing, for example, receiving a large amount of red packet money. To me, being truly blessed is to be a blessing to others – to give. You will be amazed how happy you are when you are able and willing to give, both love and gifts.
中國人喜歡在新年時互相祝「福」。有人覺得收到更多的東西就是「福」，例如收到很多紅封包；我則覺得真正的福氣是能為別人帶來祝福 ─ 給予。有能力和願意給別人送上愛或禮物是一件非常高興的事。
There are two things we may practise in order to be ‘ blessed ’ :
1. Love your parents and people around you – visit your relatives and friends of your parents with a joyful heart, instead of thinking it is something boring and old-fashioned. Not everyone has the opportunity to gather with friends and family.
2. Give away at least part of your red packet money – make donations to charities or buy something to cheer a friend up. Many people need those money and the things it can provide.
若你想被祝福，可實踐以下兩件事：
1. 愛你的父母和身邊的人─ 不要覺得是件沉悶、過時的事，開開心心地到親友家拜年。須知不是所有人都有機會與親友見面的。
2. 送出部分「利是錢」─ 你可以捐款給慈善團體，或買一份禮物逗朋友開心，很多人需要使用那筆錢去買應用的東西。
