Happy New Year!
I am sure many of you have once made New Year's resolutions at the beginning of a new year, and perhaps you have already done so for 2008. Resolutions only work and do us good if they come with careful planning, or they will only be empty wishes. People who do not plan well are hasty. They want to see the results quickly, and give up easily when they don't.
Here are a few tips on making good plans and following them diligently:
1. Make plans that are realistic and achievable.
2. Start small and start slow. Take one small step at a time and aim higher gradually.
3. Write down your goals and steps clearly on a poster or a calendar.
4. Tell a close friend or a family member about your plans so that they can remind you from time to time.
May all your New Year's wishes come true!
