Message
No story of forgiveness touches me more than the words Jesus said just before He died on the cross – “Father, forgive them, for they do not know what they are doing.”（Luke 23:34） Jesus did no wrong but His enemy put Him to death on the cross because they hated Him. However, Jesus had so much love for them that no matter what they had done, He still loved and forgave them.
沒有一個關於寬恕的故事比耶穌臨死前在十字架上的說話更能感動我 ─「父啊！赦免他們；因為他們所做的，他們不曉得。」（《聖經．路加福音》二十三章34節）耶穌沒有犯罪，但祂的敵人把祂釘死在十字架上，因為他們憎恨祂。然而，無論他們做錯甚麼事，耶穌都會原諒他們。耶穌無窮盡的愛仍然圍繞他們。
Here are a few tips to help us forgive others. First, it is good for us to forgive. Forgiveness frees us from hatred which is a bad feeling.
Second, put yourself in the shoes of the one who has upset you. Would you do the same thing yourself? It’s easier to forgive if you accept that everyone makes mistakes including yourself. Third, once you have forgiven, let go of the past and move on. Last, remember Jesus and how He forgave His enemy. Follow His example.
這裡有幾個提示，可以幫助我們原諒別人。首先，原諒別人對我們是有益的。「寬恕」把我們從「憎恨」這種不好的感覺中釋放出來。第二，假設你是那使你煩惱的人，你可能會做同樣的事嗎？如果你接受人人都會犯錯，包括你自己，你便會較容易原諒別人。第三，一旦你原諒了別人，便應忘掉過去，繼續前進。最後，緊記著耶穌怎樣原諒祂的敵人。以祂為榜樣。
