San Ming Times
Vol. #28 March 16, 2008
Greeting from the Unique City of San Ming, China,

The last several weeks have almost driven my very existence to extinction. It started with, well I do not how it started, but it included a big letter from the IRS from 2006, broken e-mail addresses, waking up one night with intense chest pains, lazy house parents, lazy and dishonest boys, miscommunications….

I started my letter complaining. I must never, never do this again.

I am reminded of what I taught my 73 children in English class a verse from Phil.
"Do everything without complaining"

Thanks for all the pr ayer and financial support.

I must continual my letter and labor by giving Praise Glory and Honor to the only one who deserves Praise, Glory, and Honor! It is in HIS name that I am in existent and it is in HIS name that I am in China, and in HIS name will I PRAISE HIM!!!

It is because of HIM I am in China and it is because of HIM I am going to a better place.

Continual to remember my boys!

* Brian
o The oldest boy at the children's village.
o Has a very childish attitude, acts like a 6 year old.
o Hates haircuts
o Helps with some of the other smaller children

* Benjamin
o Popcorn attitude easily driven to anger
o Village Bully and Bad influence on other children
o Has a very soft heart when I talk to him by himself
o Almost always have a smile on his face

* Ken
o The most changed boy of all the village
o Is trying very hard to change
o Use to be one of the village's bully.
o Very soft servant heart

* Jack
o Wets the bed almost everyday
o Very low self esteem
o Very, Very, Very Lazy
o Has a high level of intelligence, but he did not discover his intelligence yet.

* Edward
o Changed a lot since the last semester of school
o The fattest boy at the village, but yet is skinnier than most American children.
o Very obedient and submissive

* Peter
o Tries hard to impress the older boys
o Very small for his age
o Has a very low level of school intelligence, but does good work with his hands
o Spoiled by other house parents
o Stubborn and when things do not go his way he throws a tantrum.

* Jonathan
o Very loud voice (will one day be a good preacher)
o Love language is touch
o Grow up tall in the last several months.
o Likes to fight

* Mark
o Lets the other boys take advantage of him
o When excited he does this cool little dance with his feet
o Loves words of confirmation
